Spring Officially is Here:

Village DPW and Water Department crews are working together cleaning and servicing the various equipment used this past winter for snow and ice removal.  This equipment will then be ready for next year’s winter season.  Efforts are now in place to clean our Village roadway of the winter debris and the white stop lines are being freshly painted.  The various Village islands are also being cleaned and shortly thereafter, flowers will begin to appear bringing a wide range of color once again to our Village.

The last phase of the Old Westbury Pond Project will be the installation of a Post & Rail Fence.  This work is scheduled to begin in the next few weeks.  In addition to the various plantings that were added last year, several more plantings will be added this Spring.  The two fountains are scheduled to be activated later this week.

Water Invoices:

Invoices for the period November 1, 2020 to May 1, 2021 will be created and mailed during the first week of May and are returnable by June 1st without penalty.  Reminder:  The enhanced water meters within the Village can be read daily – for more information click here or refer to the Village website under Water Department.  If you have any issues, please contact Meghan at Village Hall.
