November Water Billing: 

The Village’s water invoices were processed and mailed on October 29th.  Payments that have not yet been received are considered late and a 5% late fee will be applied. 


Upcoming Village Meetings:

Planning BoardMonday, December 6th at 7PM and Tuesday, January 4th at 7PM

Zoning Board of AppealsMonday, December 13th at 7PM and Monday, January 10th at 7PM

Board of Trustees: Monday, December 20th at 7PM and Monday, January 18th at 7PM

As a reminder, all Village related events are posted on the Village website calendar which is located on the left side of the HOME page. 


Entering Village Hall:  As a reminder, to ensure safety to employees and visitors to Village Hall - if you are not fully vaccinated please wear a mask and continue social distancing.  


Communication Improvements: The Village is issuing additional “Push Notifications” to our residents in order to provide accurate information directly from Village Hall in a timely manner on a wide range of topics.  Over the past week, notifications have increased by our Police Department.  When speaking with your neighbors, see if they are also signed up to receive these informational notifications.  For assistance in signing up for notificationsplease click here for the website instructions and click here to see the app instructions.


Old Westbury Pond Project:  This project is just about completed and the application for State reimbursement will be processed before the end of the year.   Updated photos for the entire project are being gathered and will be displayed on the Village’s website in the near future.   


Village Newsletter:  The final copy should be in the mail by the end of December and will highlight several accomplishments and activities within our Village.  


New York State Grant Funding:  The Mayor and Board of Trustees having been successful working with our State Representatives securing funding for upcoming Road Improvement Projects and the purchase of additional License Plate Reader Cameras for our Police Department. 


Records Management: The month of December is the Village’s unofficial month to update the yearly Records Management Program and begin to transition into the upcoming new Year.    Village records follow the requirements that are mandated by the New York State Department of Education schedule.
