In addition to the Dogwood trees that were planted on the west side of Village Hall last fall on the “Village Green”, eighteen new Dogwood Trees (“Rutgers Stella Pink”) were recently planted on the northwest corner of Wheatley Road and the north Service Road. These wonderful trees were provided to the Village by the Friends of Old Westbury and planted by the Village’s Department of Public Works. In a few weeks these trees will begin to bloom and will be a wonderful addition to the Village’s continuing effort to plant trees throughout the Village.
