Winter Weather: Several winter related weather events have occurred this season. For each event the Village’s equipment and crew assignment have been in place to ensure that roadways within the Village are cleared of snow and ice. The Village reminds all drivers to use extra caution when driving in winter weather conditions.
Entering Village Hall: As a reminder, to ensure safety to employees and visitors to Village Hall - please continue to wear a mask and proper social distancing.
Village Assessment Roll: The Village’s Assessment Roll will be available at the Village Hall front counter for viewing beginning on February 1st. These property assessments will be used to determine Village Taxes for 2022.
Water Capital Project: The Village’s effort in upgrading our water facilities is continuing. Currently, BIDS for a new Natural Gas Emergency Generator at Well #3 are being reviewed for Board approval. These improvements ensure a water system that will continue and supply excellent water quality to our residents and meet the high demand in the upcoming summer months.
Safety Tip Reminders: Listed on the Police Departments section within the Village website are various safety tip reminder for your review.
Eye-On-Water Mobile App: If you are not already a subscriber to the Eye-On-Water monitoring system via the mobile App, instructions can be found on the Village’s website at www.vowny.org/water. This app will allow you to monitor your homes water usage and will alert you when a continuous flow of water is detected.
Presidents’ Day: Village Hall Offices will be closed on Monday, February 21st.

NOTE: Each of the above February meetings will be held via Zoom as authorized by Governor Hochul’s Executive Order 11. Log in information will be posted at the top of each meeting Agenda when posted. Meeting locations for the month of March is to be determined and will be updated on that month’s Meeting Agenda.
