A tree fell taking down power lines on I.U. Willets Rd. The road is closed between Bacon Rd and Glen Cove Rd. This has also knocked out power in the area. The traffic lights at Glen Cove Rd and I.U. Willets, Glen Cove Rd and both service roads of the expressway are also out. Please avoid the area if possible and expect delays in the area.
***Update: Power has been restored to the traffic signals. I.U.Willets Rd remains closed between Glen Cove Rd and Hunting Lane for crews to make repairs.
