Verizon Activity in the Village
(August 10th)
The Village was informed that Verizon is adding fiber to its network in the Village. The additional fiber will expand Verizon’s capacity to provide FIOS internet services to Village of Old Westbury residents.
It is important to note that this expansion is limited solely to internet service. Version will not offer FIOS television services in the Village. Residents may see an increase in Verizon trucks throughout the Village as it is performing this work.
