Burglary investigation:
A burglary was reported to the Old Westbury Police last night October 1, 2022 at 1045pm. The homeowner had left the house around 7pm for dinner and discovered the break in upon their arrival home around 1030pm. The break in was on the second floor. The homeowner’s elderly parents were home in their room, on the first floor at the time and unaware of the break in, until the homeowner told them. As a reminder, please set your alarm system if you have one. There was no alarm activation as the alarm was not on. The investigation is ongoing at this time. If anyone has cameras in the area of Saddle Ridge Road and Horseshoe Road, please check for any suspicious vehicles or people between 700pm-1030pm and notify the Old Westbury Detective Bureau 516-626-0200.
