Public Safety Update

The Old Westbury Police Department has begun the application process to procure $150,000 through the 2022 Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability and Technology (CREST) program grant recently announced by State Senator Anna Kaplan's office. While this process will take some time, the Village of Old Westbury Board of Trustees led by Mayor Novick have authorized funding for additional cameras which will be put to use immediately. Installation has been scheduled at several locations where they can most effectively assist police in preventing criminal activity.
