The Old Westbury Police Department is aware of a disturbing incident which took place early this morning in Roslyn. Two victims leaving Kyma were confronted by three subjects wearing ski masks, one of whom displayed a knife. They were robbed of their valuables and their vehicle. One victim was assaulted. This follows a similar incident earlier this week in Saddle Rock in which a family returning home were confronted in their driveway by two subjects wearing ski masks, one of whom displayed a knife. Please be alert and aware of your surroundings. If you think you are being followed, rather than continuing to your home, re-direct to the nearest police station. When you are home, remove your key fob from your vehicle and lock the doors. In a recent incident in East Hills, criminals used a garage door opener from an unlocked vehicle to access the garage to attempt to steal a vehicle. Make sure the doors to your home are locked, and your alarm is set.
