The Old Westbury Police Department would like to inform residents on an increase of deer being struck by vehicles in Old Westbury. There have been numerous auto accidents and property damage to vehicles as a result of deer strikes. Although deer can be seen at any time, they are most active from dusk to dawn. Please use caution when traveling at night, especially along both service roads of the expressway.
