[ARCHIVED] Mayors Message - March 30th

March 30, 2020

Dear Fellow Residents:

I know many of us are extremely unsure and worried as a direct result of the Coronavirus.

As your Mayor, I understand that we are all experiencing some very trying times. Please know that your Board of Trustees and I are monitoring the daily updates that we receive from the County and State level. Our Police Department is fully operational and all Village Departments continue to be staffed and ready to serve you.

I strongly encourage everyone to remain positive and follow all of the preventive measures being mandated by our Governor and please make every effort to stay home. If I can be of any assistance or if you wish to contact me please send me a note at or call me directly at 516-456-0195. Our Village website ( continues to be updated so we can keep you informed as we move forward together.

I wish good health to you and your family during these difficult times.

Fred J. Carillo
