[ARCHIVED] Do Not Leave Landscaping Debris at the Street

The Village issued a grace period for residents to take down fallen trees from Tropical Storm Isais, which expired last Friday.  We had asked that the debris from your property should not be left on the street.  Our Highway Department did an excellent job cleaning up the roadways these past weeks, and we are reminding residents and their landscaping companies not to leave any debris from property clean up at the curb.  The Village will not be collecting it, and summonses will be issued to those who have piles left on the Village Right of Way.

Please make sure your landscaping companies are taking the debris they collect with them, or arrange with your sanitation company for collections.  Thank you for your understanding, if you have any questions please call Village Hall at (516) 626-0800.
